Davidoff Robusto Intenso Limited Edition 2020 recreates this fan-favorite blend for the modern era, including the same six tobacco varieties from five regions across the world. This begins with Davidoff's acclaimed 702 Habano Ecuador hybrid wrapper, a proprietary leaf developed by hybridizing three tobacco seeds together to deliver a completely unique flavor profile. This leaf is secured over a Dominican San Vicente seco binder which has been aged over four years and Dominican fillers aged up to seven years. These leaves have been rolled in a singular 5⅛" x 52 robusto format, providing the best possible representation of the tobaccos chosen. The end result is indeed intense yet smooth, offering up higher levels of strength and flavor intensity than is conventionally displayed with Davidoff. This includes a creamy smoking texture and highlight flavor characteristics of white pepper, buttered crackers, mushroom-like mustiness, rain-soaked oak, toasted caramel, and layers upon layers of sweet cream.
