Apostate The Endowment

Apostate Cigars built its original portfolio around eight blends, each named after an element of Mormon history or ceremony. The Endowment cigar completes that collection, taking its name from a temple ceremony associated with preparing participants for exaltation in the afterlife. For Apostate, the name also fits a cigar intended to represent the most complex expression of the company’s approach to premium tobacco.

Crafted at Tabacalera Palma in the Dominican Republic, The Endowment pairs an Ecuadorian Connecticut-seed desflorado wrapper with a Connecticut Broadleaf binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Pennsylvania. The unusual combination brings together a lighter wrapper leaf with a much darker binder and a multinational filler recipe, giving the blend room to develop and change throughout the smoke.

The Endowment is among the most complex cigars in the Apostate lineup, offering a bright, palate-coating body with multiple flavor transitions along the way. The profile continues to build as the cigar progresses, showing a long, satisfying finish that closes out Apostate’s original eight-blend collection.
