Viva La Vida Connecticut gives Artesano del Tobacco its first Connecticut-style cigar, expanding the Viva La Vida line with a lighter-wrapped sister blend to the original. Created by Billy and Gus Fakih in collaboration with A.J. Fernández, the cigar keeps the brand’s Nicaraguan foundation intact while moving into a smoother, more approachable lane.

Rolled at A.J.'s factory in Estelí, Viva La Vida Connecticut uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers. The all-Nicaraguan interior gives the cigar more oomph than a typical Connecticut, while the wrapper adds creaminess and balance without stripping away the signature Viva La Vida character.

Expect Viva La Vida Connecticut to deliver a texture-forward smoking experience with notes of heavy cream, almond butter, white pepper, and a touch of sourdough bread. It is a Connecticut that still feels connected to Artesano del Tobacco’s fuller-flavored identity, giving hobbyists a creamier option without turning the blend into something thin or overly mild.
