The cigar at hand is the Rocky Patel Conviction, a super-premium smoking experience worthy of life's greatest achievements and celebrations. Setting out to create a $100 cigar should not be taken lightly, and Rocky Patel was up for the task. The process began with a hearty selection of Nicaraguan leaves from Rocky's own farms throughout the Condega and Estelí growing regions. Harvested in 2014, these leaves were then carefully aged in tercios, a process that involves wrapping tobacco in bundles of tightly bound palm leaves. Roughly nine years aged at the time of release, these Nicaraguan tobaccos make up the double binder and filler blend, being finalized with a rich Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper.

Only two pairs of rollers were tasked with handling the entire production of 50,000 cigars, ensuring the highest degree of consistency. Not surprisingly, Rocky shows off the bells and whistles throughout the packaging and presentation, with each cigar being encased in metallic tubos that resemble gold bars. Each box doubles as a functioning humidor, featuring precision hinges and solid wood.
