J.C. Newman Tampa Smokers

J.C. Newman’s Home Run Humidor brings the company’s baseball connection into a functional collectible, pairing Tampa Smokers cigars with a humidor shaped like home plate. The project fits naturally alongside J.C. Newman’s history with the sport, from its Tampa Smokers line to the company’s past baseball-related partnerships and stadium presence.

Made in the United States by Jason LeGear of JML Modern/Milwaukee Humidor Co., each Home Run Humidor uses exterior veneer cut from game-used baseball bats made from maple, birch, and beechwood. The sides feature walnut accents designed to resemble baseball stitching, while the interior is lined with Spanish cedar for cigar storage.

Each humidor comes with Tampa Smokers cigars, including traditional toros and a smaller group of baseball bat-shaped cigars rolled at J.C. Newman’s El Reloj factory in Ybor City. Built for both cigar storage and display, the Home Run Humidor gives collectors a highly specific crossover piece, connecting American-made cigars, reclaimed baseball materials, and J.C. Newman’s long-running ties to the game.
