Maracana brings Tim Ozgener back to familiar territory, offering OZ Family Cigars’ modern take on the kind of Brazilian-wrapped cigar he helped popularize during his years at CAO. The name comes from Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, tying the cigar to Brazil through both its theme and its wrapper, while giving Ozgener a new way to revisit that part of his cigar-making history.

Made at My Father Cigars Honduras, the Maracana cigar uses a Brazilian Arapiraca wrapper over Honduran and Nicaraguan binders, with fillers from Honduras and Nicaragua. The cigar is offered in pressed formats, adding a more contemporary feel to a blend that draws from a familiar idea. It also marks the first time the García family has worked with Brazilian Arapiraca wrapper tobacco, giving the project an added point of distinction within both the OZ Family and My Father Cigars Honduras portfolios.

Expect the OZ Family Maracana cigar to deliver a medium-to-full-bodied profile with notes of leather, oak, cocoa, and earthy sweetness.
