Rocky Patel is getting nostalgic—like the days when you bring out your old high school sports gear and think, I could still do that... only in Rocky's case, he literally can!

Flash back to 2005, when Rocky Patel debuted the first Olde World Reserve cigar. This was a peculiar blend that featured a hydraulic-pressed tobacco leaf as its band (later going on the become the first RP cigar to make it into Cigar Aficionado's Top 10 Cigars of the Year). The cigar was followed four years later with the Olde World Reserve Maduro (which ranked as Cigar Aficionado's No. 8 Cigar of the Year in 2009), but both blends were later discontinued, when the tobaccos used became in short supply.

Now, due to popular demand and an adequate inventory of tobaccos needed, the Rocky Patel Olde World Reserve has returned in its original (Corojo) and maduro varieties! This time around, Rocky is getting clever with production, rolling the original Olde World (now known as Olde World Reserve Corojo) at the El Paraiso factory in Honduras, while the Olde World Reserve Maduro has been moved to Rocky's own TaviCusa factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. In addition, a touch of Nicaraguan tobacco has been added to the maduro blend's filler recipe, adding a nice extra kick to send the blend over the top.

It's time to party like it's 2005; grab an Olde World and some of your old photo albums and let's revisit the good ol' days (just promise us you won't start tearing up).
