According to Riste, he identified that the traditional cigar hobbyist turns away from most infused cigars due to overpowering and chemical-like characteristics. The JSK Munchies therefore took a different approach, steering clear of floral, perfume-like flavors and instead focusing on down-to-earth sweets and snacks. The concept is even played up through the cigars' packaging, arriving in sealed packs complete with faux nutrition facts and attractive imagery of the snack at hand.

The Jas Sum Kral Munchies Rocky Road was the first cigar in the Munchies series, offering dessert-like flavors of Rocky Road ice cream. Rolled at the Tabacalera Aragon factory in Estelí alongside JSK's traditional offerings, the cigars boast a dark Mexican San Andrés wrapper and undisclosed binder/fillers.
