For die-hard Room101 fans, the early 2010s were a magnificent time, with hit after hit solidifying the company as a top player in the craft space for years to come. This included fan favorites such as the OSOK, Namakubi, and Daruma.

Perhaps feeling a bit nostalgic, company founder, Matt Booth, has set about reimagining many such releases, with the Daruma receiving the modernized treatment for 2023. Like the original, the cigars feature Room101's Daruma logo, which resembles a Japanese Daruma doll. This is basically where the similarities end, as the cigars boast all-new packaging, tobacco recipe, and place of origin.

The Room101 Daruma 2023 cigar centers around Nicaraguan tobacco, using the fiery leaf throughout every portion of the recipe. Not only this, but the cigars are rolled out of the famed Oliva factory of Nicaragua (a first for Room101!). Rolled in a singular 6" x 50 "Ranfla" size, the 2023 Daruma has been limited to 2,000 boxes of 10 cigars. Buckle up for a new chapter for both Daruma and Room101.
