El Mago Triunfante

Spanish for Triumphant, the Triunfante cigar from El Mago Cigars was created in tribute of Gonzalo and Maria Torre and their ability to triumph against all odds. Sadly, Gonzalo and Maria passed away during the sudden collapse of Surfside’s Champlain Towers condominium in Miami in 2021.

Inspired by their triumphant lives, Gonzalo and Maria's grandson Nicolas Fusco created El Mago Cigars in their honor. Hand-made in Nicaragua, El Mago debuted in 2022 with a solid core of cigars that have been quick to catch the eyes of cigar enthusiasts that share El Mago's passion for quality smoking experiences.

Among the mildest offerings from El Mago is the Triunfante, which features a silky Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper, a Corojo binder, and all-Nicaraguan fillers. Packaged in individual tubo sleeves, the El Mago Triunfante boasts a vibrant color scheme inspired by Gonzalo and Maria Torre and their home of Miami. In terms of profile, the cigars are mild to medium in body, draping the palate in creamy flavors of buttered nuts, clean cedar, barnyard hay, and aromatic florals through the retrohale.
