El Mago Pepe

Debuting onto the premium cigar scene in 2022, El Mago Cigars is an up-and-coming craft cigar company with passion. The company was created by Nicolas Fusco, being inspired by his loving grandparents, Gonzalo and Maria Torre, who were hard-working emigrants that instilled in Nicolas a love for premium cigars and persistence in his professional career.

Tragically, Nicolas' grandparents were among the 98 victims claimed during the sudden collapse of Surfside’s Champlain Towers condominium in Miami in 2021. El Mago Cigars debuted only one year later, displaying his grandparents' likeness throughout the company's lineup in their honor.

This includes the El Mago Pepe cigar, which is named for Nicolas' grandfather, Gonzalo “Pepe” Torre. The cigar is said to boast the strength that Pepe himself would appreciate, showcasing a box-pressed cigar with a dark Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper, a Broadleaf binder grown in the US, and all-Nicaraguan filler. As an added touch, the cigars are packaged in unique square-shaped tubo sleeves to fit the cigar's box-pressed size. With a medium overall intensity, the El Mago Pepe cigar focuses largely on flavor, hitting notes of cocoa, sweet earth, molasses bread, and vanilla through the finish.
