My Father La Union Black Limited Edition 2023

Some collaborations are business. This one’s bloodline. After two decades of shared factories, trade shows, and family ties, La Union finally puts it in a box (literally). The La Union LE 2023 Black Humidor marks the first <em>official</em> collaboration between My Father Cigars and Tatuaje, celebrating a partnership that dates back to both companies' beginnings.

Housed in a matte-black humidor bearing a sketch of Pete Johnson and Jaime García shaking hands—blessed, fittingly, by Pepín García—are two unique blends that mirror the union itself. Pete’s blend features a shade-grown Nicaraguan Corojo ’99 wrapper, while Jaime’s uses Ecuadorian Habano. Both sit over Nicaraguan binders and fillers from the Garcías’ farms, including the coveted Pelo de Oro, a leaf typically reserved for special occasions.

Each 7¼" x 50 prominente especial is finished with a 109-style cap, combining classic form with a belicoso lean. Rolled by just two pairs of torcedores at a pace of 250 cigars per day, these cigars showcase the finest craftsmanship My Father has to offer.
