You've seen cigars rolled with two differing wrapper shades; you've seen cigars capped with differing wrapper shades; and you've seen cigars (granted, not frequently) capped at both ends; but you've probably never come across all of the above in ONE cigar.
Well, allow us to introduce you to the Persian King Type-Mod 60 by Gran Habano. This smoke is as uniquely named as it is unique in appearance, boasting a double-capped shape that is designed to be smoked from either end. Further adding to the intrigue, the 6" x 60 format takes on a figurado-like diadema shape—meaning it has a round parejo head on one side and a tapered torpedo-like head on the other—helping to change the draw and mouthfeel depending on which end is cut.
The Persian King Type-Mod 60 cigar falls in line with former Persian King cigars from Gran Habano, making use of all-Nicaraguan tobaccos from Gran Habano's own fields. With Ecuadorian Connecticut caps, the blends not only take on an eye-catching look, but offer less spice on the lips. The blend is medium-full to full in body, boasting flavors of toasted cedar, sweet earth, black pepper, and a creamy nuttiness through the finish. As to which end smokes better... that's up to you!
