Born from the closure of the storied Nat Sherman brand in 2020, Ferio Tego represents a rebirth for co-founders Michael Herklots and Brendon Scott. With the debut of their own namesake line in 2021, they introduced two ultra-premium blends—Elegancia and Generoso—each rolled in a single toro size and packaged in humidor-style boxes. The Elegancia, crafted with Master Blender Manuel Quesada in the Dominican Republic, was designed to showcase a refined, milder profile without sacrificing depth, delivering a creamy, mouth-filling texture layered with nuance.

Since that debut, the Elegancia has returned annually in limited production, with new vintages released in 2022, 2023, and 2024. While the blend’s core remains anchored by an Ecuadorian wrapper, Dominican binder, and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua, each year’s production is treated as a unique expression—subtly adapted to the character of that year’s tobaccos. Like a fine wine vintage, no two Elegancia releases are identical, inviting collectors and enthusiasts to anticipate what future renditions will bring.

Across vintages, the Elegancia cigar has stayed true to its name, delivering a style that’s creamy yet fuller-bodied (for the Connecticut genre), with a long, clean finish and an evolving combination of flavors.
