Apostate The Sword of Laban takes its name from one of the more recognizable artifacts in the Book of Mormon, continuing the brand’s use of Latter-day Saint imagery through a cigar made for a slower, more deliberate smoking experience.
Crafted at Tabacalera Palma in the Dominican Republic, The Sword of Laban uses an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper over a Mexican San Andrés binder and Dominican fillers. The Corojo wrapper brings spice and salt/sweetness, while the San Andrés binder adds earth and richness beneath the Dominican core. Together, the tobaccos create a profile that has character without becoming overly aggressive.
Expect the Apostate The Sword of Laban cigar to deliver notes of roasted nuts, cedar, leather, cocoa, toasted bread, honey, and dried fruit. The Sword of Laban is built for taking your time, rewarding a slower pace with subtle transitions and a balanced expression of Corojo that favors texture and nuance from start to finish.
