Apostate The Liahona comes from the brand’s original lineup, tying its name to the compass of divine origin described in Mormon scripture. For Apostate, that reference fits the broader idea behind the company: two Utah-based cigar enthusiasts using familiar religious language and imagery in a cigar brand built around community, rebellion, and finding a different path.
Crafted at Tabacalera Palma in the Dominican Republic, The Liahona uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut-seed wrapper over a Mexican San Andrés binder and fillers from Paraguay and the Dominican Republic. The blend gives the cigar a Connecticut foundation, but the San Andrés binder and Paraguayan filler add more depth and contrast than the wrapper might suggest on its own.
Expect The Liahona cigar to deliver a mild to medium-bodied profile with notes of creamy hay, toast, grass, citrus, vanilla, earth, and a touch of white pepper. It is one of Apostate’s more approachable blends, but not necessarily mellow in character, offering a smooth Connecticut-style experience with enough body to keep the profile moving.
*Please note that all SKUs have two product lines. The top line is the box count from the manufacturer and ships in the box displayed. The second line is less than the box count and will be shipped as loose cigars in a humidified bag.
