Apostate The Deseret takes its name from a Book of Mormon term meaning “honeybee,” a reference that also ties into Utah’s early history and the state’s long-running beehive symbolism.

Crafted at Tabacalera Palma in the Dominican Republic, The Deseret cigar uses a Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper over a Dominican Piloto Cubano binder and fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. The blend leans into tobaccos known for sweetness, using the dark wrapper and Dominican-Nicaraguan core to create a richer profile with enough body to keep the profile from becoming too soft.

The Apostate The Deseret cigar kicks off with notes of cocoa, fruit, toasted marshmallow, earth, and sweet spice, especially through the retrohale. It's one of Apostate’s richer core blends, giving hobbyists a maduro expression that plays off the honeybee theme without relying on gimmickry.
