Tatuaje's Fausto cigar may translate to <em>Lucky</em>, but this cigar isn’t about playing it safe. Originally built off Pete Johnson’s powerhouse T110 blend—known as Thermonuclear in its early days—Fausto is one of the strongest cigars in the Tatuaje portfolio. Inspired by a blend that started as a private release for a Hawaiian retailer, Fausto was officially launched in 2011 and has since earned a reputation for full-bodied power and rich complexity.

Handcrafted at My Father Cigars in Nicaragua, Fausto features an oily Ecuadorian Habano oscuro wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and fillers, being heavy on Estelí and Jalapa ligero. From the first draw, expect bold notes of dark chocolate, espresso, and earth, layered with cedar, leather, and a blast of white pepper. As the burn progresses, molasses-like sweetness and roasted coffee settle in, giving the cigar both depth and balance.
