  • Timothy Beaulieu - StillWell Star Aromatic No. 1
Steve Saka is the master of venturing out of the box. Using the top blend of Nicaraguan tobacco with the finest blends of pipe tobacco, he has created a primo cigar. The aromatic adventures play with mind. Sweet flavors of chocolate are abound. Razor sharp burn, retrohale is enjoyable. Excellently constructed. You’ll love this creation.
  • Vincent Bonetti - StillWell Star Aromatic No. 1
WHen you smoke this cigar you will be automatically transported to a place and time long forgotten when your grandfathers were sitting next to you - one with a cigar, the other with a pipe, both yelling about the Yankee Game or how the city was going to hell - the pipe tobacco will remind you of his 52 inch waste fitting into his 32 inch speedo and all the gold chains hanging down his neck with his current wife, who was way too young for him making him a drink, sitting right next to the true king of the castel with his bold and strong cigar ever present in his hand, lit or not... laughing loudly while spitting after mentioning boston and flailing his hands wildly as he articulates every word of the last home run he say Ruth hit. This experience is tied into a smell, into a cigar, that I can't express my gratitude for making me remember.
  • Mateo Rodriguez - StillWell Star Aromatic No. 1 (Verified buyer)
I used to be a pipe smoker and liked the Smokey and sweet pipe tobaccos. So I was super hyped when I heard Steve was doing this. I was a bit hesitant at the beginning due to knowing the differences that go into prepping the two different types of tobaccos but man the way they prepped the tobaccos and blended them for this cigar it was perfect. And it’s truly called aromatic for a reason. Goes well with a nice herbal tea, or black coffee in the morning.
  • Shawn Albers - StillWell Star Aromatic No. 1
A very unique experience with the addition of aromatic pipe tobacco throughout this blend. Coffee, artificial sweetness, red velvet cake and a brownie batter note are all present. Something I couldn’t smoke on the daily, but I do enjoy lighting one up once in awhile.
  • James Young - StillWell Star Aromatic No. 1
Steve Saka is a mad man for perfecting this. The aromatic is a sweet savory smoke with a smooth retro that leaves you wanting more! I enjoy this in the morning or evening when I just want to sit back and relax.
  • Jarrod Raimann - StillWell Star Aromatic No. 1 (Verified buyer)
I have only had a chance to try one of these, but it was absolutely incredible! I have always loved the smell of pipe tobacco, and Steve has managed to combine that with an incredible cigar smoking experience!
  • Michael Lanier - StillWell Star Aromatic No. 1
As a pipe smoker who definitely enjoys aromatic blends, C&D and Saka hit a home run with this blend. Two masters in the business putting out an absolutely amazing cigar.
  • Michael Cruz - StillWell Star Aromatic No. 1
Although not the first one to put pipe tobacco in a ultra Premium cigar, No one does it better than the Sakasquatch
  • Tony McDowell - StillWell Star Aromatic No. 1 (Verified buyer)
Beyond amazing quality, construction, smokability and aroma. By far, my new favorite cigar!
  • Vincent Burgo - StillWell Star Aromatic No. 1 (Verified buyer)
One of my new favorite breakfast sticks. Love the aroma this one puts out and just a lightly sweetened cap for perfect balance. Great burn and draw and delicious pipe tobacco flavors! Very unique smoking experience!
  • Bobby Jones - StillWell Star Aromatic No. 1
If you enjoy the aromas of pipe tobacco, but want the smoke output of a cigar and maybe don't want the fuss of packing a bowl (if you're a beginner like me) then the stillwell line is for you. This is the only cigar in the line that has a sweetened tip, but it's very subtle compared to most sweetened cigars and won't be offensive to the folks that usually sway away from this added process
  • JACOB NEELY - StillWell Star Aromatic No. 1 (Verified buyer)
These cigars certainly are unique. The smell immediately transports me back to the first tobacco shop I walked into. Extremely aromatic yet refined and still more cigar than pipe tobacco. My favorite is the Aromatic No. 1, but the Navy 1056 is a short second.
  • Joe Olesinski - StillWell Star Aromatic No. 1 - 5 Pack
The Aromatic was definitely my favorite of all the blends of Stillwell Star. A very enjoyable and unique smoking experience. The genius of Saka really shines through with this one.
  • Vincent Burgo - StillWell Star Aromatic No. 1 - 5 Pack (Verified buyer)
One of the best smelling and tasting cigars I've ever had along with that Saka quality these are a must try. Almost makes me wanna start smoking pipe tobacco!
  • Christopher Barnett - StillWell Star English No. 27 (Verified buyer)
My second favorite StillWell Star! I love the “woody” notes!
  • Daniel Newman - StillWell Star English No. 27
I find the Stillwell Star English No. 27 to be the most unique experience of all the StillWell Stars from my perspective. It is a strong cigar that comes at you with a great full bodied flavor that consists of earthy, smokey, cedar based notes. I recommend that you try the entire line more than once to get a good feel for where they will fit with your palate, but you definitely will not go wrong with the experience the Stillwell Star line will provide.
  • Jarrod Raimann - StillWell Star English No. 27 (Verified buyer)
Quite a unique cigar. I do prefer the Aromatic no 1, but this one is enjoyable also. Has almost a cinnamon/nutmeg/potpourri flavor in it. Like a baking spice.
  • Michael Lanier - StillWell Star English No. 27
I'm someone who also enjoys a pipe, especially in the winter. I was very excited to give these a try and the line didn't disappoint. This English is hands down my favorite in the line and I will always keep these on hand as long as Steve keeps making them.
  • Michael Cruz - StillWell Star English No. 27
Unique flavor characteristics that is pleasing to the palette. Quality of construction couldn't be better
  • Jeremy Caudill - StillWell Star English No. 27 (Verified buyer)
By far my favorite Stillwell blend. Great taste with a smooth retrohale. It has a very unique taste which makes this a perfect cigar if you are looking to change things up a bit.
  • Jesse Pettry - StillWell Star English No. 27
As a cigar smoker that also thoroughly enjoys a pipe I was stoked about Sakas Stillwell line! The English No.27 is so far my favorite (big surprise considering english blends are my go to *eye roll*) the Latakia addition to the cigar gives it a wonderful smokiness that is different than say the Kentucky fire cured. It is a fantastic smoke and gets fairly strong in the last 1/3. If you enjoy pipe smoking or are curious about it this cigar won’t disappoint! The pipe tobacco nuances are settle but present and are fun to seek out! 10/10 will buy again!
  • Jarrod Raimann - StillWell Star Bayou No. 32 (Verified buyer)
Strong flavors. I don’t know much about pipe tobacco, so I was going in blind. Not my favorite of the Stillwells, but it definitely could be someone else’s!
  • Michael Lanier - StillWell Star Bayou No. 32
My 2nd favorite in the line and reminds me of smoking my pipes. Just a delicious smoke, especially when I'm in the mood for a pipe, but don't want the hassle. Just light up and enjoy.
  • Michael Cruz - StillWell Star Bayou No. 32
My least favorite of the Stillwell line but still an excellent cigar, more of prefer the others flavors over this one
  • Jeremy Caudill - StillWell Star Bayou No. 32 (Verified buyer)
This cigar is the closest to "normal" cigar when it comes to the Stillwell line. This cigar is the perfect "in between" stick if you are looking to get the best of both worlds (Pipe and cigar tobacco).
  • Carlos Line-Torres - StillWell Star Bayou No. 32
I was hesitant on trying these at first because I haven’t enjoyed pipe tobacco too much the times I’ve tried it but, these are very good cigars each with unique flavors. I suggest trying them all
  • Jarrod Raimann - StillWell Star Navy No. 1056 (Verified buyer)
Pretty nice cigar. My second favorite StillWell behind the Aromatic #1
  • David Moorhead - StillWell Star Navy No. 1056
This may be my Favorite of the line, if I had a gun to my head and had to choose. As with most DTT cigars, the construction is almost flawless. Before you light this the aroma from the pipe tobacco tickles your nose. For me it's brings back memories of my grandfather when i was a young boy and the nostalgia that come with it. This cigar seems to want to be smoked slowly for the flavors to hit just right. While there are subtle changes as you smoke through this masterpiece, the flavor and complexity stays consistent. Do yourself a favor and grab a Navy 1056, find a nice comfortable spot and light this cigar up. Be sure to have plenty of time, a clear mind, and some quite surroundings to maximize the experience!
  • Michael Lanier - StillWell Star Navy No. 1056
If you ever wanted to experience the joys of smoking a pipe, but are a little hesitant. Pick up this cigar and you'll know why so many people like myself enjoy pipes and the many tobacco's available. C&D has delivered and really did a fantastic job putting the experience of pipe smoking in a cigar.
  • Michael Cruz - StillWell Star Navy No. 1056
Perhaps my favorite of The Stillwell line that I found to me smooth flavors and a pleasing retro hale
  • Chad Manson - StillWell Star Navy No. 1056
My favorite of the 4. Great burn and construction for the entire cigar. Would smoke again.
  • Jarrod Raimann - StillWell Star 4 Pack Sampler (Verified buyer)
A great way to try all of the StillWell Star line! The Aromatic No. 1 is by far the standout winner for me, but the others are good as well. Depends on what kind of pipe tobacco you are used to. They are each very unique.
  • Ryan Miller - StillWell Star 4 Pack Sampler
These pipe tobacco blended cigars are the best example I have ever smoked of cigar and pipe tobacco blended together. Each one is very unique and will leave you wanting to light up another. The smell off the foot of these cigars is unlike anything I have ever experienced. If you're a pipe guy and haven't tried theses yet, what the hell are you waiting for?
  • Cameron Chien - StillWell Star 4 Pack Sampler (Verified buyer)
My wife and I love the Deadwood Sweet Janes, so when we heard that these had some pipe tobacco also, we had to try them, and boy did they not disappoint! The Aromatic No. 1 might have been the best new-to-me cigar of 2021!
