The Nelson Gift Set marks the debut appearance of the Nelson cigar—the next chapter for the luxury-geared Selected Tobacco company. Named for and created by Nelson Alfonso alongside his sons, this limited edition release pays tribute to the family’s past while offering a glimpse into its future. The blend features an Ecuadorian Habano 2000 wrapper, an Ecuadorian binder, and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Peru—rolled in Costa Rica and then aged in the company's specially designed aging facility in Spain.
True to Selected Tobacco’s reputation for meticulous aging, each Nelson cigar undergoes a four-year cedar-aging process in chambers lined with five distinct types of cedar wood. This proprietary technique imparts incredible depth and subtlety, allowing the tobaccos’ complexity to evolve into a rich, harmonious expression. The result is a medium-bodied profile that’s refined, elegant, and unmistakably luxurious.
Each Nelson Gift Set includes five 6" x 54 Illustres cigars housed in aluminum tubes, alongside a collectible ashtray designed by Alfonso himself.
