Inspired by U.S. Navy veteran Lionel H. McKoy (a Gulf War sailor turned Casa Carrillo shipping manager), the Perez-Carrillo Battleborn cigar is a heartfelt tribute from Ernesto and family to those who’ve worn the uniform and carried its weight beyond the battlefield.

The cigar is dubbed “Warriors,” a 6” x 56 toro gordo that brings a broad-shouldered presence with a fuller-bodied blend to match. A Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper surrounds dual binders from Mexico and Nicaragua, with all-Nicaraguan fillers burning at the core. It’s bold, rich, and unflinching—yet there’s a grounded quality beneath the strength, echoing the kind of quiet resolve McKoy brought to both his deployments and his work at Casa Carrillo.

Packaged in camo-clad boxes and paired with a custom dog tag, each cigar is numbered and purpose-driven, supporting veterans and first responder charities across the country through the Carrillo Cares initiative.
