The original Casa Fuente cigar debuted as a Cameroon-wrapped blend, produced at the famed Tabacalera A. Fuente factory in the Dominican Republic. Often described as a close cousin to OpusX cigar, the blend pairs Dominican binder and filler with an authentic African Cameroon wrapper, delivering a profile that balances sweetness, spice, and refinement. These cigars are easily identified by the orange ribbon tied around the foot and are offered across a broad range of classic and connoisseur-geared sizes.

The follow-up Series 5 (aka Casa Fuente Maduro) expanded the concept with a darker expression, marked by a yellow foot ribbon. This version trades Cameroon for an Ecuadorian maduro wrapper while keeping the Dominican core intact. The result is a deeper, richer profile that leans into cocoa, earth, and roasted tones without losing the Fuente family’s signature polish. Together, the two lines showcase different sides of the same idea, one elegant and aromatic, the other bolder and more rich. Though no longer confined to the famed Las Vegas lounge (may she rest in peace), the Casa Fuente cigar remains tied to its origins, carrying the spirit of a destination cigar into a wider audience while staying unmistakably Fuente at heart.
