Micallef Experiencia La Crema in Review
I wanted to get away from it all, and just experience a different kind of cigar. It’s easy to get caught up in complex flavors. But, with the Micallef Experiencia La Crema, I got so much more than I expected. The Experiencia was sweet before I even lit it. By the second puff I knew that it was not my imagination. There I was taking long draws on a sweet yet spicy blend. Now when I say spicy, most people default to peppery.
No, this cigar had a hint of cinnamon. Not too much, but just enough to remind you that this is a medium bodied cigar. I sat it down for two minutes and had to relight it. Normally I would blow out, to avoid the ashy taste, but I opted not to. Remarkably, the sweet cinnamon flavor was smoother on the second half of the cigar. Shamefully, I smoked part of the band. By the time I finished I had a craving for apple pie. You guessed it, with just a sprinkle of cinnamon. I am looking forward to experiencing the Micallef Experiencia La Crema again, sooner than later.

Great review, SB! Sounds like a solid after dinner/dessert smoke.
