Well, it’s that time of the year again. Time to head to Kansas to visit relatives, then out to Wyoming to see our son Shane, and then to pack up here in New Jersey and head down to Florida. So, I may not be writing this blog thing as often for the next couple of months…
But I leave you with a few odd thoughts that are rattling around in my brain like:
Why don’t we call a TOOTH brush a TEETH brush?
Why is Dove soap ¼ cleansing cream? …wouldn’t it work better if it was just all soap?
I know that Ivory soap is 99 and 44/100ths percent pure because they told me so in a lotta TV commercials… and that it floats—but what’s the other 56/100ths percent made out of? And does anyone really care if their soap floats?
And, of course some important cigar related questions that you should really think about:
If you knew for sure that the earth was going to be completely destroyed next month, (including your favorite cigar shop) … what cigar would you buy?
If a freakin’ loaded Jeep can cost a hundred G’s, aren’t you glad that you can still buy a good handmade cigar for less than the price of a Cheeseburger at Five Guys? (Can you believe a freakin’ cheeseburger at Five Guys is $11.99? What the fu%ck is the world coming to???)
Well, it’s time for me to start packing, and I’m smoking one of these old 1958 Cuban Flor de Farach Brevas. And I should be enjoying it. But, you know… sometimes a cigar is just a cigar!
