CAO Fasa Sol

There's the yin and yang, hot and cold, darkness and light... and now, FASA Sol and FASA Noche cigars from CAO. Named after the Spanish words for sun sol and night noche, CAO offers two contrasting smoking profiles that are based on the same core tobacco recipe.

The CAO FASA project was built for the everyday "Joe Sixpack" cigar enthusiast, offering two approachable smoking experiences with shockingly affordable price points. Adding intrigue to the concept, CAO has used two different factories for each blend: HATSA (Honduras) for the FASA Sol and STG Estelí (Nicaragua) for the FASA Noche. Despite the difference in location, each blend boasts the same interior recipe, which begins with a well-rounded filler combination from the DR (Piloto Cubano) and Nicaragua (Estelí, Jalapa, and Condega). With the FASA Sol cigar, these leaves are bound in a Cameroon leaf and finished with a Honduran Olancho San Agustín (OSA) wrapper.

Whether heading out for a round of nine, mowing the yard, fishing, or simply looking for a dependable smoke on the regular, the FASA Sol has the balanced flavor and quality construction to get the job done. The cigar is medium bodied, lighting up with notes of cedar and sun-dried red pepper; this leads effortlessly into more balanced characteristics of toasted nuts and touches of medium-roast coffee bean.
