Spanish for “Bat”, Murcielago was a fan-favorite cigar that debuted in 2009, but was short-lived due to a fallout with the original manufacturer. Now, after years in the making, the original blend has been meticulously re-crafted at Espinosa’s La Zona factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. Built from the ground-up, the “return of the bat” features a similar blend as the original, with slight tweaks that give the new cigar a modern sophistication. And, like all good superhero sequels, the costume (packaging) has been revamped for a sleeker, meaner appearance!
The La Zona factory seems to do no wrong, with one outstanding release after the next—this cigar is no different. The Espinosa Murcielago features a Mexican Capa Negra wrapper over Nicaraguan fillers, making for a full-bodied blast of flavorful smoke you won’t soon forget!
