The Tabernacle Havana Seed CT No. 142 is the work of Nicholas Melillo, founder of Foundation Cigar Co. Nick had worked with farmers in the Connecticut River Valley since 2014 to develop the cigar's incredibly unique wrapper, a varietal known as Havana Seed CT #142. This seed is very rare and differs from conventional wrappers because of the extreme amount of oil it produces. This unusual oil output requires the wrapper to age for upwards of three years to fully complete the fermentation process!

A follow-up to the original The Tabernacle cigar, the Havana Seed CT No. 142 features a Mexican San Andrés binder and fillers from Nicaragua and Honduras. Both The original Tabernacle and the CT 142 have a similar blend, with both being finalized by a wrapper harvested from the Connecticut River Valley—near Foundation's headquarters in Connecticut. The CT 142's complex wrapper brings a full-flavored smoke with a medium to medium-plus body and strength. This blend creates a creamy smoke with deep notes of cedar, ripe fruit, hickory, and cocoa.

    If you're looking for something milder than the OG Tabernacle. Then this cigar fits the bills. More mellow, but with more spice IMO. Nick delivered again with another fantastic cigar.

    The Broadleaf used on this wrapper is unparalleled in the cigar industry today.
    It's got spice, it's got boldness, but at the same time, it's creamy and smooth.
    If you are only going to smoke one cigar from Foundation, this is then one you should be smoking.

    Thick chewy oily flavorful smoke. Another one of those cigars where after im done I ask myself why I don't smoke it more often. Earthy leathery coffee etc. All the flavors I love. This is the cigar that made me love Foundation as a brand.
