The Illusione *G* Gigantes cigar was crafted in 2014 as a response to the overwhelming popularity of the cigar's Illusione *R* Rothchildes predecessor, which was introduced a year prior. While the original Rothchildes cigar is short and affordable, the Gigantes allows for a similar smoking experience (and affordability) with longer smoking times of roughly an hour and 45 minutes!

Although the Gigantes and Rothchildes are quite similar in appearance (the Gigantes is purple and the Rothchildes is red), the tobacco recipe is slightly different, with the Gigantes offering added richness and punch. This includes the use of a dark Mexican San Andrés wrapper and all-Nicaraguan fillers of Criollo '98 and Corojo '99 seeds from the Jalapa and Estelí regions. Rolled at the boutique-minded TABSA factory in Estelí, this price-conscious beast offers cigar enthusiasts the triple threat: quality craftsmanship, intense flavor, and an affordable price. The cigar is medium-full in body, bringing out easily approachable flavors of campfire, earth, mocha, and sweet hickory.
