Ferio Tego's Timeless Sterling cigar is one of four unique offerings in the brand's Timeless collection, operating as the luxury choice within the lineup. The Sterling cigar began its life as a premium brand from the beloved Nat Sherman, debuting in 2013. In 2018, under the direction of then-Vice President, Michael Herklots, Nat Sherman's premium cigar collection was completely revamped, consolidating the lineup and moving the Sterling into the contemporary, four-piece Timeless series.
Sadly, Nat Sherman closed its doors in 2020 due to the pandemic. However, to the delight of cigar enthusiasts, Michael Herklots partnered with Brendon Scott (also formerly of Nat Sherman) and launched the Ferio Tego brand, acquiring every cigar that Herklots had (and even some that he hadn't) spearheaded while working with Nat Sherman. Of course, this includes the Timeless Sterling cigar, maintaining its original recipe and sizes; simply replace the Nat Sherman text with Ferio Tego and voilà, it's the same dependable Sterling that cigar fanatics know and love.
The Ferio Tego Timeless Sterling is rolled out of the famed Quesada Cigars factory under the watchful eye of Master Blender Manuel Quesada in the Dominican Republic. Here, he crafts the cigars using all-Dominican fillers (including some that are aged for 10 years), a Dominican binder, and a stunningly smooth Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper. This makes for a luxurious smoking experience, touting a mild-medium body and nuanced complexities of buttered toast, clean cedar, aromatic florals, and touches of sweet malt.
