E.P. Carrillo Inch Natural

Cigar industry legend Ernesto Perez-Carrillo is no stranger to large ring gauge cigars, and was a pioneer of sorts when it came to making big cigars. In 2012, he launched INCH, a line specifically created to feature larger ring gauged cigars. The name INCH comes from the dimensions of the cigars, with a 64 gauge being exactly one inch in diameter.

Every cigar in the INCH line measures 60 ring gauge or larger, with the biggest clocking in at 70. The line launched with the INCH Natural and the INCH Maduro cigars, with additional variants arriving in the years following.

The INCH Natural sports a natural Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and a blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican Fillers. Once lit, you can expect lots of earth, cedar, and nutty flavors. The INCH Natural is not as bold as its Maduro sibling, but still clocks in at the medium to medium-full strength output.

Customer Reviews

  • JACOB NEELY - E.P. Carrillo Inch Natural No. 60
Seems like a decent blend but I had a hard time keeping it lit and it had poor smoke production.
  • James McCarter - E.P. Carrillo Inch Natural No. 60
Really not a fan of this smoke. I imagined if I were to smoke hay, this would be similar. Positive note it burned well and wasn’t too tightly packed nor too loose.
  • John Caro - E.P. Carrillo Inch Natural No. 64
Being a fan of EPC blends, I had high hopes for this release, but it fell a bit short. I'm a big guy and the ring gauge just didnt seem natural, whicb led to my not being able to keep the cigar lit. Having to relight so many times, just gave a charred taste. Definitely recommend a smaller ring gauge if you try this.
