Robert Caldwell's Long Live the King MAD MF is the maduro version of his original Long Live the King cigar that came out in 2014. This maduro addition was released four years later and replaces the Dominican wrapper with a dark Mexican San Andrés leaf. Differing from the original, the Long Live the King MAD MF cigar is limited in nature, with only 75,000 cigars being made at launch. And yes, as the name implies, this Mad MoFo kicks things up a notch or two, offering the grit and intensity that modern cigar fanatics crave.This maduro version isn't just a wrapper change, the rest of the blend was altered as well, using an Indonesian binder and fillers of Corojo '98, Habano, and Pennsylvania double ligero. This savory concoction amounts to a punchy flavor profile, led by delicious notes of cocoa, pepper, and cedar.
