601 La Bomba Warhead VI 5-Pack
Since launching in 2012, Espinosa Premium Cigars has become synonymous with full-bodied, flavor-forward, powerhouse smoking experiences. This is perhaps best evidenced through the company's long-running 601 La Bomba Warhead series, offering limited releases of one of the most intense smoking experiences in the craft cigar market on a near-annual basis.
The original 601 La Bomba Warhead debuted in 2013, showcasing a maduro-wrapped variant of the already-strong 601 La Bomba brand. With the Warhead, not only was the strength cranked to eleven, but the wrapper was swapped for a gritty Connecticut Broadleaf maduro leaf. The 2020 release is the sixth expression to date, being dubbed 601 La Bomba Warhead VI and featuring an all-new 5” x 58 figurado shape.
601 La Bomba Warhead VI has been blended by the Espinosa team at A.J. Fernández's northernmost factory (San Lotano), located in the small city of Ocotal, Nicaragua. The cigar therefore makes good use of Fernández's famed Nicaraguan tobacco throughout the binder and filler, providing a full-throttled experience backed by an evolution of palate-pounding flavor from start to finish, including standout characteristics of black peppercorn, chocolate malt, hearty earth, black licorice, and sweet molasses that borders on BBQ territory.
Only 1,000 boxes of Espinosa 601 La Bomba Warhead VI have been crafted for 2020, making for what is expected to be among the most sought-after cigars of the summer.
