The cigar's release proved timely, marking the final blend by Carlos Fuente Sr. before his death in 2016; truly one of the most prominent and influential figures throughout the history of premium cigars.
Blended after the clear Havana cigars of Carlos Sr.'s youth, the Casa Cuba cigar makes use of an Ecuadorian Havana wrapper over Cuban-seed tobaccos grown in the Dominican Republic, used throughout the binder and filler. This amounts to a balanced, nuanced, altogether classic smoking experience, offering medium-bodied subtleties of clean cedar, buttered toast, barnyard musk, and a long-lasting semi-sweet cream through the finish.
